GIFTING GUIDE: EASTER EDITION

o  o  o

To most of us, Easter gifts are synonymous with children's gifts: basket grass, plastic eggs, and waxy chocolate bunnies. And trust me, I'm not dismissing traditional Easter candy. Who still eats an entire bag of Starburst jelly beans each Easter? Yep, guilty.

But what's an elevated gift that still feels Easter-y for the host or hostess of a brunch? What's an appropriate gift in a workplace that doesn't feel overly religious?

I'm excited to kick off my "Gifting Guide" series with Easter gifts. Over the next couple of weeks, I'll be sharing my sources for elevated gifts of all kinds for the Easter holiday.

And naturally, I'm starting with chocolate.

DIONYSUS WALNUT  o  CHOCOLATE NAIVE  o  PRALINES  o  CHOCOLATE EGG  o  MR GOODTIME  o  CHOCOLATE DIPPED FRUIT

Remember: place your orders soon! US-based companies (like the makers of Mr Goodtime, Dionysus Walnuts, and the Chocolate Dipped Fruit) should have standard delivery options.

However, the Chocolate Naive bars, Chocolate Egg, and Pralines may could anywhere from 5-12 days to ship to the states. In fact, Williams Sonoma estimates 1-2 weeks to ship the pralines. After a bit of research, it turns out La Maison du Chocolat will ship directly to the states in a matter of days using this link.

So tell me, what are some of your favorite Easter candies? Any special gifts you've given to the host of an Easter brunch?

Until next time!

Emily
